Artist Statement
Live performance is my forte and I feel my true validation as an artist is exhibited in the use of spontaneity and improvisation in my act.

Pennsylvania to Louisiana
I've been playing New Orleans music all of my life and it took all of my life to get here.

After many trips to the South, I longed for the musical diversity and the appreciation of the listening audiences that I saw happening in New Orleans so on the second day of 2013,
I made New Orleans my home.

French photographer/blogger, Paul Kersaudy and his wife stopped to hear me as I was playing on the stoop in front of my house. They were familiar with Django and he took this photo for the blog he was doing about his experiences in New Orleans, Lafayette and the bayou.

Go to http://pluieetbeautemps.over-blog.com/ for more of Paul’s great travel photos and observations.

The translation:

Taking a walk in the Faubourg Marigny, considered to be the artists' district, our musical meetings will continue. Our wandering will be guided by the sound of a guitar.

We stop for an instant. Again for the French, we are in air of Django Reinhardt. A special small wink to my friend guitarist, Charles. It is a special dedication for you Charles, when you will look at this blog page.

After exchanging our contact details, Jim Perrett, professional guitarist, tells me he has already played in Paris. With his agreement, I encourage you to visit his website by clicking here.

Some music pieces are available to listen by clicking on “Cheap Snails”. Videos are also visible on YouTube.

Another way of sharing these instants of pure happiness with you.
